Capathia Jenkins

Born and raised in Brooklyn New York. Attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of  Music and Art and continued her studies at Temple university. She has worked extensively in theatre, from off-off Broadway to Broadway as well as National and European tours. Capathia has the distinct experience of working with EAT on the 2007 production of  (mis) Understanding Mammy-The Hattie McDaniel Story for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. Now she joins the Board of Directors with great enthusiasm and a positive eye towards the future. As a working actor in New York City she knows firsthand the opportunities EAT can offer to the nurturing of new works.
